How to reach Hotel Villa Margherita

• By car
  • If you are travelling on the A22 Brenner motorway, take the Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda Nord exit and follow the signs for Mori, Torbole and Riva del Garda. From Riva, continue along the Gardesana Occidentale towards Limone sul Garda. This route is suitable both when arriving from the north and when travelling north from Verona or Modena.

  • If you are arriving from Milan, Bergamo or Brescia on the A4 motorway, take the Brescia Est exit and follow the signs for Salò. From Salò, continue along the Gardesana Occidentale through Gardone Riviera, Toscolano Maderno and Gargnano to Limone sul Garda.

  • Once in Limone, follow your satnav to Via Luigi Einaudi 3. The hotel has a private car park, with parking included in your stay. Allow for possible traffic delays along the Gardesana at weekends and during peak season.

• By train

  Limone sul Garda does not have a railway station. The main stations for reaching the town are Rovereto and Desenzano del Garda–Sirmione. From either station, you will need to continue by road.

  Getting to Limone

  • From Rovereto, take a Trentino Trasporti bus to Riva del Garda, served by route B332. At Riva bus station, change to an Arriva bus towards Limone sul Garda. Check the connections before booking your journey. Trentino Trasporti timetables

  • From Desenzano del Garda–Sirmione, continue on the Arriva buses towards Salò and then towards Limone sul Garda. You may need to change buses, so check the complete journey for your arrival date.

  Alternatively, you can book a taxi or private transfer from the station directly to the hotel. If you are arriving by bus with luggage, we recommend arranging the final part of the journey from the bus stop to the hotel in advance, as the property is on a hillside.

• By plane

  The main airports for reaching the hotel are Verona Valerio Catullo and Bergamo Orio al Serio. From either airport, you can continue by rental car or book a private transfer to the hotel.

  Getting to Limone

  • If you are using public transport from Verona Airport, take the Verona Airlink to Verona Porta Nuova railway station. From there, travel by train to Rovereto or Desenzano del Garda–Sirmione, then continue on the buses described in the “By train” section.

  • From Bergamo Airport, check the bus connections to Desenzano del Garda or Brescia. From Desenzano, continue towards Salò and Limone on the Arriva buses. If you travel via Brescia, check the services to the western shore of Lake Garda and any changes required.

  Before booking your flight, make sure your landing time allows you to catch the last onward connections. For evening arrivals, a private transfer booked in advance allows you to travel directly to the hotel.

• By boat

  You can reach Limone sul Garda by boat, with Navigazione Laghi services from towns such as Malcesine and Riva del Garda.
